ABC Wide World of Sports:
"The thrill of victory.... the agony of defeat."
I used to watch Wide World of Sports all the time. It was a great show! The skier who represents "The Agony of Defeat" was Yugoslavian Vinko Bogataj who only suffered a mild concussion.
