Congratulations Graduates!



Congratulations and good luck to all the current graduates out there! If anyone knows where this photo was taken, please let me know. The car is a Mercury Comet and the photo is from 1961.

Looks like a Catholic university. I checked Creighton's St. John's Parish, but it isn't the same building...

Can you zoom in to the license plate to get a state?

That is the Felician Sisters convent and Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, suburb of Detroit. I believe Madonna moved to a new campus, built on the grounds of the convent, around 1962. Even after the move to the new campus, the graduation ceremony may have still been held at the convent chapel.
