Does anyone know what kind of car this is? The car appears to be from the late 1920's or early 1930's.
Lee from Florida has idientified the car as a 1930 Plymouth.

I began my interest in vernacular photography by a chance acquisition of over 10,000 negatives dating from the late 1920's through the early 1970's. Appears to be a 1931 Rio. The car in back is a 1938 Ford.

...is a link to a 1930 REO sedan. The grille frame, the wire wheels and the headlamps are slightly different, but the 'shape' of the window frames looks identical. Note the front wings. Has he been off-roading it or playing 'chicken' or something?
I believe it is a 1930 Plymouth 30-U. Here is a link to a pic of a restored one.
