What Country Am I From?

This soldier may be a bit more difficult to identify since he is sitting down and his complete uniform is not visible. However, the writing on the back of the photo as well as his medals may provide clues to his country.

The soldier has been identified as being Czech.

I think we have another Czech.

I Googled a few of the words and kept getting Czech sites, so I ran everything through the dictionary at http://www.slovnik.cz/. Here's what I could translate:

teticka = Aunt
ja = me / self / myself / I
vam = you / to you
vaseho = your
bratr = brother / cousin
ve válce = at war
byvala = ex / former
snoubenka = future
dcera = daughter
Anezky = Agnes

If you like these pictures, I recommend the book The Good Soldier Švejk, it's like Catch 22 or M*A*S*H from World War I.
