Balancing acts! Lions! Tigers! And more!! I believe these are photos from the Shrine Circus, which was held for many years at the State Fairgrounds in Detroit, Michigan. As I child, I attended this circus several times. The pictures are from the late 1940's.

While not quite a teen, this guy certainly seems to be a Beatlemaniac. If this photo looks familiar, that is because it was previously posted on Swapatorium.

Tin Lizzie

The Model T, affectionately known as the "Tin Lizzie," was designed by Henry Ford and built by the Ford Motor Company from 1908 until 1927. At one time 9 out of every 10 cars in the world was a Model T! The production line allowed for the cars to be built quickly and in the late 1920's a new one could be purchased for less than $300! The photo is from the 1920's.

The kid's outfits as well as their hairstyles are a site to behold!

Here Birdie, Birdie!

The cat appears to have selected an excellent "hiding" spot in order to catch birds. The girl looks to be sporting an early Princess Leia hairstyle. The photo is from the 1940's.

Backyard Fun

The tractor in the photo is a Cletrac. Cletracs were made by the Cleveland Tractor Company. The photo is from the 1940's.

Looking For Adventure

Looks like this little boy is getting ready to take his bike on a "Big Adventure." If anyone knows what kind of bike this is, I would appreciate the information. The car is a 1955 Chevrolet.
